Nestled in the Helena Valley with large natural landscape features and existing bush is the proposed Boomerang House. The house folds around an existing creek line that diverts through the block over massive granite rock outcrops and existing habitat trees capturing northern sun patterns and extensive bush view lines. Consisting of materials to suit a BAL 40 compliance the house features dark metal cladding, fibre cement exposed raw concrete panels and a bronze anodised laser cut aluminium panels that will contrast against olive tones of the surrounding Australian Bush. The home features capacity to operate off grid with significant water and photo voltaic arrays linked in with great solar passive elements designed into the home.
