The existing Fremantle fisherman cottage was extremely dilapidated and heritage listed requirements put the planning restrictions into a complex process. After 6 years of rejections DLD were engaged to take a fresh approach and planning approval strategy with the City of Fremantle. After a 2 year process an approval was granted for a new renovation of the street façade and incorporate a modern extension to the rear respective of the existing character of the home.
