JR RENO
An existing 1970s traditional brick and tiler Perth suburbia home with good bones needed a revamp and expansion of all core living spaces and enhanced utility areas for an expecting new family. A simple process of simplifying the layout and utilising the existing structure as best as possible to reduce cost overruns and unnecessary spending was employed. The existing house was gutted and reshaped with new utility areas and minor bedroom wings. The existing living area was then evolved into a guest room or second living. The main entry was evolved and reconstructed to flow directly into a new rear living area and master suite extension. The main living area expanded and new kitchen and alfresco connected back into the existing house. The existing roof line was reworked along with new external wall claddings creating a fresh traditional and coastal styling home.
