STONE HOUSE

Original stone cottage built in Darlington with a growing family needing to expand its living area. A modern extension was proposed to the rear and services area to lower areas as the natural topography of the land dropped away to the creek line. The rear extension was to create a complete contrast between the old and new so that homage could be payed to the traditional house. The original house will be reworked and made good to suit the new extension and structural failings. Final design ideas and concept progressing for 2021.
