Where aggression and bold forms overtake the norm and create a confronting and dominant architectural styling. Muecke House seeks to stifle the norm of western Australian suburbia residential design and create a home that defines a new breed of audaciousness. The home is set around maximising small lot living with all areas focused around viewing green spaces or significant volumes of natural and ambient light. A Basement structure for secondary usage rooms is created to gain additional space on the ground floor where a guest living quarters is provided for intergenerational care for ageing grandparents. A large living area and kitchen space fold around a central courtyard with landscaped alfresco and small plunge pool allowing the garden spaces to always view external garden spaces and northern light. The upstairs area divides into two wings with minor bedrooms and master suite separated, allowing a large gallery space and void to view the main courtyard and roof garden.
